Biography
Dr Vijil Rahulan graduated from Armed Forces Medical College and from Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Pune 1993. He participated in the first lung transplant done in India in 2011. He further received his training in Interventional Pulmonology and Lung Transplantation from USA.
Dr Vijil has about 25 years of experience in the field of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He has been working as HOD of Critical Care Medicine & Lung Transplantation at Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai, for 11 years. He also has an experience of more than 70 lung transplantations, since 2011.
