Biography

Dr Ajitabh Srivastava is alumni of the Goa Medical College and completed his MS in General Surgery from Goa University in April 2004. He holds a DNB from the National Board of Examinations. He is a Fellow of American Society of Transplant Surgeons and has held several leading positions in liver transplant surgery and HPB surgeries in this illustrious career.

An author of several papers that have been published in leading journals, he has also presented papers & presentations at prestigious conferences the world over. His areas of expertise & speciality include – liver transplants, liver surgeries and hepatobiliary surgeries.

Biography

Dr Vishal Kumar Chorasiya is alumni of the SS Medical College, Madhya Pradesh and went on to complete his MS from the Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. His primary field of experience over the last 10-12 years of practice has been liver transplants and HPB surgeries. He’s been an assistant and primary surgeon for liver transplants with over 1200 surgeries.

His experience also includes over 300 complex hepatobiliary surgeries that he has completed independently. His area of interest under liver transplantation is porta dissection and difficult hepatectomy techniques; post liver transplant immunosuppression in relation to liver regeneration; and minimally invasive liver surgeries.

Dr Rajanikanth Patcha is working as a Senior Consultant and Lead Clinician in the liver department, at Gleneagles Global Health city, Chennai. He was trained in UK for 13years . He has 20 years of Surgical gastroenterology and 9 years of Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplantation experience.

Dr Rajanikanth Patcha did his Masters in General Surgery from the famous & prestigious institute JIPMER , Pondicherry. In 2001 he moved to England to gain specialist training in Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation.

Dr Rajanikanth passion towards liver transplantation made him pursue training in world renowned Kings College hospital, London for 6 years. He worked with Prof Nigel Heaton and Prof Mohamed Rela who are the pioneers in liver transplant training and guided him through his years of training.

During his stay in UK, Dr Rajanikanth successfully completed membership of the Royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh and of Ireland . He also qualified for Fellow of European Board of surgery in Liver transplantation and Hepato biliary surgery in the year of 2014 making him one of the first South Indians to achieve this prestigious certificate in both fields.

In 2007 he gained diploma in Laparoscopy from University of Louis Pasteur, France .

Biography

Dr Vivek Vij is alumni of BJ Medical College, University of Pune and then completed his MS in General Surgery from the Government Medical College, Punjab. He holds a DNB in General Surgery and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburg from March 2003.

He is a pioneer of liver transplant surgery in India and has pioneered two liver transplant programs in the country. Considered to be one of the best donor surgeons India, his areas of expertise include – liver surgery, liver transplants and hepatobiliary surgery.

Dr. Vij has pioneered several surgical innovations in liver and HPB surgeries. He has also performed a wide range of gastrointestinal surgeries and over 500 liver resections.
